Review on True Fitness Velocity
If you’re after a gym that feels less like a fish market and more like a place you actually want to spend time, this is it. Think spacious layout where you’re not elbowing strangers mid-rep, and lighting that’s easy on the eyes, none of those harsh, glary police interrogation vibes here. Just clean, balanced brightness that somehow makes both you and your workout look better. With top-notch equipment and room to breathe, it's the kind of place that makes showing up half the battle and trust me, you’ll actually want to.
Venue:
Smack in the heart of Novena, True Fitness Velocity makes getting your sweat on ridiculously easy—MRT below, buses all around, and zero excuses. No overcrowded chaos here; just a spacious, well-designed setup with lighting that flatters, not fries. It’s the kind of place where you’ve actually got room to move, breathe, and crush your workout without bumping elbows. Quick to get to, hard to leave this is fitness without the fuss.
Cleanliness:
One thing about True Fitness Velocity—it’s clean, and they keep it that way. The equipment’s well-maintained, most people actually respect the towel rule (bless), and sanitizing stations are always stocked. Bathrooms? Surprisingly spotless. If only we could get every patron in Singapore to wash their hands with soap after using the loo, I wouldn’t have to play defence with a tissue just to open the door. But hey, gym hygiene here is as good as it gets—and that’s saying something.
Price point :
From $95 a month, it’s not cheap—but when a gym checks all your boxes, price gets pretty irrelevant. Clean, spacious, stocked with sanitiser... honestly, worth every sweaty cent.
Quality of service:
The front desk crew is generally pleasant and gets the job done, though there are a couple who could definitely spare a smile—trust me, life’s not that bad. You're working in a gym, not defusing bombs! But hey, they’re efficient, they scan you in, and they don’t make you feel like you're sneaking into a private club, so we’ll call that a win.
Overall experience:
Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. I'm in and out, no fuss—great lighting, plenty of space, and hardly anyone hanging around for small talk (bless). Sure, you’ll spot the occasional phone-scrolling addict camping on a machine like it’s their childhood trauma support group, but hey, every gym has a few with equipment attachment issues. Minor hiccup. Overall, it’s smooth, efficient, and gets the job done—just how I like it.
A great person to contact is Ser Ng at this outlet. Always helpful and not pushy—exactly what you want when you're just trying to get your workout in without a sales pitch.
